Gulf Coast Summer Slam Tournament Series
GPJGA and ECJGT
The Gulf Coast Summer Slam consists of four golf tournaments, including the historic Divot Derby and Daily News Jr. Classic. These events will be held in June and July whereby golfers ages 14 to 18 earn points from each event based on be field size. Two of these events are hosted by the Emerald Coast Junior Golf Tour and two events are hosted by First Tee Gulf Coast as a part of their Greater Pensacola Junior Golf Association.
Points are based on size of field. For example, if the Boys 14-18 group has 21 golfers, the winner receives 21 points, 2nd place receives 20 points, etc.

- Summer Championship at Emerald Bay: June 21-22
- Southern Juniors: June 30 – July 1
- 46th Annual Daily News: July 9-10
- 68th Annual Divot Derby: July 14-16
Boys 14-18 and Girls 14-18
1 Overall Boys Champion and 1 Overall Girls Champion
Points will be accumulated based on position/amount of players
- For example, if 20 players in a tournament, 1st place would receive 20 points 2nd would receive 19 points and so on
Highest point earner (not already qualified) will earn an exemption into the A. Downing Gray Cup at Pensacola Country Club on July 28-29
